Pinkfresh Studio “Artsy Floral” Release

Hello again friends!

I'm so happy to be celebrating with you the new Pinkfresh Studio Artsy Floral release. There are four amazing rolls of spectacular Washi Tape with gold foil details that have coordinating stamps, dies and coordinating stencils. These Washi tapes are really forgiving to work with and you can use it on paper, vellum, acetate...

I created a mini slimline card using the new Sakura Washi:

I wanted to create a continuous design using both Washi tape with white cardstock and Washi tape with vellum so before running my paper through my die cutting machine to create the front panel I turned the beautiful cherries from this roll into stickers by adhering the Sakura Washi to a piece of patchment paper and ran it through my die cutting machine. This way I turned every image into stickers. I also adhered the Washi tape to a piece of white cardstock and run it through my machine using the coordinating die .

I started working with a piece of paper cut to 3 7/8 x 8 7/8 which is the original size for the Slim Braided Circle die but I wanted my slimline to be smaller so I trimmed my paper to 3 1/2 by 5 3/4.

I adhered some of the wash stickers onto this paper making sure they were spaced and leaving also some room to adhere more cardstock with washi. Once I was happy with the placement, I run my paper through my die cutting machine using the Slim Braided Circle die.

Next up I embossed the Sakura Stamp with white Satin Pearl embossing powder onto a 3 1/4 by 5 1/2 piece of paper. I foam mounted my Braided Slim panel onto the embossed piece making sure I did not press to hard because I wanted to tuck the same images underneath the ones that were already stuck in the front panel. So I arranged three of these Cherries carefully and foam mounted another one to fill the panel.

Finally, I added some greenery using the Leafy branch die with Ivory Glitter cardstock and gold heat embossed the sentiment from the Artsy Floral Stamp set , Instead of using the standard white I decided to use a light pink card base for this mini slimline washi design. If you see those little glitter gems they are also part of this release; they are the Clear with gold dust gems, perfect for shaker cards or to add a little soft gold dust touch to your projects.
