Hello friends!
I'm so happy to be joining Pretty Pink Posh for their october release! This holiday release is jammed packed with amazing die sets that I immediately felt in love with.
For today's post I decided to create a wreath using the new Holiday Wreath builder dies

I started this project by inking an A2 white cardstock panel with Salvaged Patina and Speckled Egg Distress Ink. I applied more pressure on the edges and softened the color towards the center of the panel. Next up, I used the new Cascading Snowflakes stencil and applied more ink but only on the egdes of my panel. I let my background dry and using the same Cascading Snowflakes stencil I applied Distress Sparkling paste. These snowflakes are truly subtle by I really like the frosty look they add.
I also added some tiny stars I cut out of white glitter cardstock using the stars form the Build an ornament die set. To add some contrast and extra texture I also added some light pink snowflakes I cut out using the new Stitched Snowflakes die set.

To create my ornament I die cut all the elements from the Holiday Wreath Builder dies using white cardstock. I always prefer to color my die cuts rather than using colored cardstock. I used Distress Gathered Twigs and Ripe Perssimon for my brown leaves, Concord & 9th Sea Glass and Parsely for my twigs and Distress Salvaged Patina for my holly leaves. I also used some light pink stars also from the Build an Ornament die set.

I foam mounted all the elements onto the circle die cut of the Holiday Wreath and adhered it onto my front panel. I added some Ranger Collage medium onto all the elements of my wreath with a small brush and then sprinkled some Distress Rock Candy Glitter for a frosty look. Lastly foam mounted my sentiment with Olive ink using the Winter Greetings stamp set.
